About the Club
Calverton Swim Club has provided a summer haven for the greater Silver Spring community for over 50 years. We are a private, member-owned club limited to 600 memberships. We are located on 5 acres in Montgomery County, bordering on Prince George’s County, and conveniently close to the ICC and I-95. Our memberships do not have geographic restrictions.
Our summer fun traditions include a swim team, swim lessons, volleyball leagues, social events for children and adults, as well as family BBQs, and adult-only social events. We have covered picnic pavilions and a snack bar for relaxed summer snacks and family meals.
A volunteer Board of Directors is elected by membership to serve two-year terms. We hold twice-annual general membership meetings at the beginning and end of the season. All members are invited to attend Board meetings.
