The Calverton Chargers Swim Team is looking forward to this season in the Montgomery County Swim League in Division H. “A Meets” are on Saturday mornings starting June 19th and run until the Divisional Meet on Saturday July 24th. The Chargers also have “B Meets” scheduled on most Wednesday’s throughout the season. That means everyone gets to SWIM in a Meet!
Date of the first practice is Tuesday June 1st (Time TBD). Our first meet will be Saturday June 19th at HOME against Inverness Forest. Time Trials will be Sat. June 8th. Check the Swim Team link on the CSC website for practice times and social events.
Through out the season the Swim Team has many activities for the whole family, including Pasta Dinner, Pancake Breakfast, Ice Cream Float Night and Pep Rallies.
So, whether you are an experienced competitive swimmer or a beginner, ages 5 to 18, come join the fun; you just need to have your “PATCH” and a desire to have fun and succeed!
Parents are asked to become part of the Team as well; there are lots of fun things to do to help the kids have fun, from being an on Deck Official to helping with the snack bar during Meets.
